BINDING WIRES

Binding wires, also known as mild steel or MS binding wires, are commonly used in construction and manufacturing industries for maintaining the exact position of the rebar cage in the structural section. These wires are made from mild steel, which is a low-carbon steel known for its ductility, strength, and affordability.

The primary purpose of binding wires is to securely hold together steel bars in concrete structures, such as beams, columns, and slabs, during the construction process. By knotting the rebar’s together, binding wires help maintain the proper spacing and alignment of the bars, ensuring the structural integrity and strength of the concrete elements.

The binding wire are available in 0.914 mm thickness to suit different construction requirements. They are typically sold in coils for ease of handling at the construction sites. The wires can be easily twisted or bent using pliers or a wire twisting tool to securely fasten the rebar’s together. We also recommend to carry out the knotting in every single joints than alternative joints, so that the steel structure can be strengthened adequately.

The binding wire should be free of specks of paint or grease and also not corroded in any way. We offer wire from a modern plant ensures there is no compromise on quality and sustainability. One should know about the tensile strength in the binding wire, whether it is of the order of 250-430 newton/sq.mm.

Our Binding Wire Advantages

  • Length : Higher length per Kg will provide more number of joints.
  • Durability : Less wastage because of no breakage
  • Packaging : Secured packing for smooth transitions
